Auction Houses and Single-Class benefits...
Amidst all the complaints about GW being unbalanced (in terms of professions) I actually think that that is not a big problem. There are two things that I think are much more important than that, which I would like to see in an expansion-or even better, a patch for the current game.
First, there should be an auction-house system like there is in WoW (surely this has been suggested in the past). Don't dismiss me as a WoW fanboy just yet -- it was one of the few aspects of the game that I thought worked completely flawlessly. In GW everyone is crowding up the trade channel selling, with very few people buying. While I like GW's fluctuating economy (i.e. the dye prices), the current system is just inefficient. If anyone has played RYL (a lesser-known MMO, I played the beta) they also have a cool system. You can set up shops with a title in towns, set prices for items, and then go afk or whatever you want. It's nice to be able to set up shop w/ the prices you think are fair, leave your computer, and come back to find that you made quite a lot of gold and some bag space to boot. The downside is that there is no real "bidding" or negotiating with that system.
I also think that there should be a benefit for single-classing. As it stands there's really no advantage to not picking a secondary, because even if you don't put any skill points into it, they might still have good inherent abilities (i.e. monk res spell). Maybe single classes should get additional skill points per level?
